At the end of the extraordinary meeting of Council of the University of Buea on 28 May 2020, members, led by the Council Chair, Professor Edward Ako, visited the newly-constructed building that would host the Advanced School of Translators and Interpreters (ASTI) and the Pan African University of Governance and Humanities’ Translation, Interpreting, Transborder Languages and Intercultural Communication Programmes (PAUTRAIN).
